We Are The Foundation For Community Education
Who We Are
Leading Edge Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing educational opportunities for the growth and advancement of youth and adult learners. Our programs are structured to re-engage students who have been struggling academically, to improve retention and graduation rates, to prepare students for college, to promote childhood literacy, and to assist adults in preparation for the workforce. Based upon the demographics of the community, we strive to construct an educational foundation within youth and adults; thus resulting in a lineage of lifelong learners.
Our mission is to expand educational opportunity and elevate performance success within the Southern California community.
Our literacy campaign emphasizes strengthening skills in reading, writing, and math (including financial literacy). Our annual LEEF Celebrating Literacy Book Drive and Community Book Grants provide books to families and organizations.
The LEEF mission is dedicated to promote student access to college through improved high school performances, stronger SAT/ACT preparation, college planning, and annual college scholarship awards.
LEEF’s educational services target skill building within Special-Need group and classroom settings. Students are provided academic support groups and professional development training's are conducted for school and community staff.
Certification of Community
Certification of Community Organizations is conducted by LEEF to promote heightened standards of knowledge, staff effectiveness, and program performance within three key areas of: Foster and Group Home Youth, Special Needs, and Pre-K Literacy.
